Day 14: Written by @thomasdelfino : It was good to have a first look at the Bulgarian mountains yesterday, but we wanted to explore more with the guys. Unfortunately after a long hike the weather shut us down and we had to come back to the bus. There the party mood was on, and after a nice pre party on the parking lot, we decided to head to town and experience the craziness of Bansko. We filled up or stomach with an enormous amount of meat in a traditional BBQ restaurant, and kept on partying in the bars. From trance music to fancy club, we tried to taste a little bit of all that Bansko has to offer. The night was crazy but it is kind of frightening to see how far we are from these people. In the heart of the nature, Bansko is expending, as well as the human madness. Disconnected from the simplest pleasures of living close to our natural environment. Thankfully with the first lights of the day we are coming back to the bus, ready to keep the adventure going. @pictureorganicclothing #pictureorganicclothing #thenomadsbus #jumbogeorge @lamzacofficial Photographer: @coline_bbaz

Day 2: The first full day in Montafon reminds me of Lewis, the way he turns around in a circle three times before he finally lays down on his mat into the perfect relaxed position. The riders try to find the perfect place for their gear while manoeuvring around each other without bumping into the wall or each other too much. A skill that takes practice. We’ve never had six riders on the bus before with this amount of stuff. Gopro’s, two pairs of skis or snowboards each, boots, avalanche gear, riding gear, helmets,.. making it harder than usually to unpack, giving everything a place and of course finding your stuff again when you need it the most. Eventually the riders head up the mountain with local Picture Family rider @thomas.feurstein while praying for a good first layer of snow. In the meanwhile the other half of the crew prepares ‘the camp’; using palets to prevent all the mud from going inside, setting up the solar panels, doing groceries, and trying to find more parking spots for the rest of the trip. The evening ends with a nice dinner and a good game of UNO. A game I’m sure every rider possesses the same amount of skills in as actually riding. The game that saves us from going crazy on the days we have to wait for the beautiful fluffy white stuff. Please let it snow! @pictureorganicclothing #pictureorganicclothing #thenomadsbus Photographer: @garnier_louis_photo
